DESCRIPTION:Whether you shop at Bass Pro weekly or this is your first time fishing\, you’re invited to join the men of Cornerstone and enjoy the finest half-day fishing on the West Coast. We will fish the San Diego coastal waters from Imperial Beach to the Point Loma kelp beds\, according to the best bite. Depending on the season\, you can expect to catch a variety of gamefish\, including Yellowtail\, Bass\, Barracuda\, Bonito\, or Rock Fish. \nWe’ve chartered the entire boat for Cornerstone men and their friends\, and have room for up to 55 people. Please aim to arrive at the dock by 5:45AM (it takes 1 hour and 15 minutes from Cornerstone) so you can find parking and pay the remaining fees listed below. Dads and grandpas are welcome to bring their kids/grandkids* along\, just be sure register everyone joining the trip. These stands will be part of kits that families can borrow to give out free drinks and invite people to church. \nWe’ll provide a model stand\, and you’ll work in teams of 4-6 to build and paint. Bring a drill set and safety goggles if you have them\, or we can provide extras. Plus\, one lucky winner gets a kid’s toolset! DESCRIPTION:When you give your life to Christ\, God adopts you into His family. Not only is God your Father\, but you now have brothers and sisters in Christ. Who are they? Look around on a Sunday morning at Cornerstone – that’s your spiritual family! One of the most cherished activities a family does together is to share a family meal. So that’s what we’re going to do: \nA CORNERSTONE FAMILY MEAL \nOur hospitality team will provide the food and clean up afterwards. You can focus on eating and meeting new people: ask questions\, share your story\, laugh and pray together. Younger kids can play together on the playgrounds. Our pastors will be there so feel free to ask us questions about the church or our families. We encourage you to attend the 12pm service and stay afterward for the meal. If you attend another service time then just come back at 1pm to eat. Each month we’ll mix up the menu and we hope that you’ll join us every month to continue to meet different people at Cornerstone. Registration will be open in advance all month long. Invite a friend\, because first time visitors eat for free! \nIf you’ve got more time to hang after breakfast you can sign up for an optional hangout time where we’ll break into three groups to do one of the following: Corn Hole\, Pool (Billiards\, leave your swimsuit at home)\, or playing the NBA2k video game.  \nWHAT TO EXPECT: \nFrom 8am-9am we’ll have breakfast and a short message. \nFrom 9am-10am we’ll have 3 optional hangouts to choose from. \nLOCATION: The Chapel (formerly Small Church) \nGUEST SPEAKER: Chad Lacomb \nAfter a life of drugs that started at the age of 12\, Chad found himself in prison for murder at the age of 21. Hopeless and completely in bondage to the drugs he turned in a direction he never thought he would. While he was in prison\, he attended bible college and earned a welding certificate. After serving 14-years\, he got out of prison and became a pastor. Chad has founded Fully Restored Ministries to ‘fully restore individuals whose spirit\, soul\, and body have been torn apart from addiction and sin.’  \nChad is a personal friend of Pastor Andy and is joining us to share the story of God redeeming his life.
